The frame was stamped 1947, always great when a chair has a date on. Passed down through the family and missing it’s seat cushion, the foam had disintergrated, so the chair required completely stripping.
I replaced the board with tarpaulin, new foam was cut and a Designers Guild wool fabric was chosen by my client.
I named this piece His and Hers as there are blue buttons one side and pink on the other.
